Rand quickly swings Ray of Light upward, clasing with Sin. He quickly pulls a small device out of his pocket, and points it at Gale's chest. After pushing a button, a beam of white light shoots from the device directly at Gale.

Gale immeadiately collapses in pain. The synthetic Holy wasn't as strong as Ayn's, but it was still enough to paralyze the Abbis. "Bastard..." Gale turns Sin into a gun again and tries to fire at Rand.

"Quiet, Abbis." Rand shoots another beam, this time directly at Gale's forehead.

Gale is tossed down this time. Sin slipping from his grip. Gale tries to curse at Rand, but combined with his fights with Cloud, Chaos and now Rand, the Abbis was far too tired to move or speak.

"Hmph. Pathetic.." He turns around, everybody else except for the old man lay on the ground. He pockets the device he used to take out Gale. "I'll wait until they're both near death...."

Legion stands again, the wound on his throat has sealed, but his shirt is colored in blood. "That goddamn Abbis... What next, boss?"

Still backed low against the wall, Fury watches Gale fall. Then it became clear: He wasn't going to make it out of here. No cover, nowhere to hide. Running would give him away. "In that case..." He takes another deep breath and rises out of the shadow that was his cover. "I'm not gonna die cowering in a corner..." His right hand comes up and the sniper blast shoots across the cafe in a flash, aimed dead-on for Rand.

Rand smirks at Legion, then grabs his arm, pulling him behind Rand. The blast rips through Legion's back, and Rand reaches into his pocket, pulling out another device. "Heh.. You thought you were in hiding, Fury?"

Goraq stands back as he sees the guy, supposedly the 'hero' just fall to the ground. And he sees what seems like a futile attempt from the kid in the corner to attack this Rand character. . .

Legion collapses in a heap. Blood pools underneath him, but again, the demon is not dead. ".....Never make me do that again."

"About bloody time." Taking the precious time to attack while Gale is weak, Chaos calls upon the Sword of Fury, his previously unnamed sword. “I'm afraid that, unlike Rand, I want immediate results.” Saying this, Chaos then thrusts the sword towards Gale’s body with the intention of killing him.

Fury's eyes widen as he watches Legion take the shot and drop. He stands silent for a moment, then narrows his eyes in determination. "I see you're still relying on others, 'father.' Did you enlist this punk to replace Nyx?"
By this time, Chaos had appeared and run Gale through. "No! What are you doing?!" |

Gale, who no longer has the strength to stiffle pain, lets out a scream of pain as the Sword of Fury tears into his chest. A few more wounds like this and surely the Abbis would fall. A voice echoes through Chaos' head. The identity of who is not said, but they are not of Angel nor Demon. "Be aware of what seeds you sow among mortals, Angel of Death. It can affect more than the closer you have left until you meet your goal. Do as you wish, but even you are not beyond consequence. We'll be watching." The voice then fades in a moment.

"What? Get out of my head and reveal yourself! Reveal yourself!" In a fit of anger, he once again drives the red sword into the body of Gale. The angel pants as his hair slowly turns blue...

This time Gale merely makes a soft cry of pain. Concentrating mostly on breathing."Are you afraid of what you can not see, Angel of Death? If you desire to see me, I shall grant that wish. On the condition you leave the cafe without further lose of life. I am not your enemy, nor your comrade. However, I am intresting in keeping the balance. Meet me in the valley outside near the castle of the Abbis. I shall speak with you there."

"...Very well. You have piqued my curiosity. Thus, I shall leave Gale, Rand and the others to their own business... For now." Vanishes from the cafe, leaving only blood-stained footprints.

Rand laughs to himself quietly, he never did like the Abbis anyway- he was only useful in stirring Ayn's emotions. Ayn.... He turns to her, Ray of Light raised, ready to end her life.
She moans slightly, and opens her eyes. She blinks slowly, then notices the bloody form of Gale lying nearby. ((And you know that makes her mad! XP)) She scoops up a handful of her own blood, stands up silently, then wraps her bloodied hands around Rand's throat. Steam rises as the flesh starts to burn. Rand screams loudly, grabbing Laena's arms and tossing her over his shoulders, then, clutching his throat, the floor splits open and he falls through into the earth. The ground closes above him. |

Legion notices that Rand has retreated. In suit, fire seems to burn Legion and soon he appears to have burned to ashes. However, the Arch Demon has merely retreated with his leader.

Laena turns and walks over to Gale. She kneels down beside him, and starts singing.

Gale twitches slightly. After a moment his eyes flutter open and they look at peace fo a moment. They widen when memories of Chaos and Rand reconcile in his head and he tries to jump up, which still isn't possible in his condition. He lies back down, cursing softly. He then notices Laena singing. "..What are you doing?"

She glances down at Gale, smiling, but continues singing her melody.
The song has an effect others as well, Ayn groans and pushes herself up slightly with her elbows. She is still an ashen gray color, but seems to be recovering. |

Gale stares blankly at Laena, wondering why she's smiling at him. He noticed that his stabs ones have healed somewhat, and he tries to sit up. This time with more success then the previous attempt. He also notices Ayn beggining to stir. "****..."
Am speaks rather matter-of-factly. "Some one as powerful as you, but I don't cause trouble. You know damn well then to meddle with the beings of this world." |

Her singing softens to a whisper, then she stops. She glances at Gale. "If there is somewhere you would like to go.. home, perhaps? Just say so, and I will take you there."
She climbs up on the couch and wraps her arms around a pillow, taking deep breaths. Inhaling the Siren's poison did considerable damage to her lungs and windpipe, and breathing has become laborous. |

Gale frowns. He didn't like the idea of being taken to his own home by a Siren who didn't seem to get the idea that he was ignoring her. Or trying to. He wasn't going to get home otherwise. She also did just save him from certain death. This woman had a way of getting Gale to what she asked or expected. He'd need to break that habit soon. "....Home...." Gale said that somewhat agitated. He really didn't like this idea, but he had little choice.
"Really? Well, I suppose it'd be fair if I went back with you and meddled in you dimension? Leave this world to it's inhabitants. There are those in this dimension who not even you equal, despite how arrogantly you seem to think otherwise." |

Laena smiles, then begins to sing softly. A green light surrounds the both of them, and when it dissipates, Laena and Gale are gone.

Fury remains frozen for a moment, then once everyone's left, breathes a long sigh of relief. "Just having one of those days..." He moves out from the wall into the center of the site where the plastique detonated and looks up into the rafters, checking the damage. The wide gap in the center rafter prompts another sigh.

Ayn sits up and rests her head in her hands and rubbing her eyes. It's much easier for her to breathe now, and her priority now is to find Gale. She glances around, and sees Bianca lying on the ground sobbing. She stands and picks Bianca up in her arms, the sits down with her on the couch, whispering soothing words to her in Italian.

Goraq watches Bianca as she is resting. He is happy to know that when he left her all those years ago, she wasn't left with a bad person. But he is still disturbed by what just took place and is shaking at how helpless Bianca looks.

Ayn looks at Goraq, then down at Bianca. "I see..." She stands, Bianca in her arms, then walks to Goraq. "You should take her.. She'll be much safter with you than with me... I.. I don't want anything like this to ever happen again.."

She smiles softly, but shakes her head. "I was born to have this sort of danger surrounding me.. It is the burden I must carry as the human of the earth. There is no point in placing some of my burden on someone I care about." She looks down. "Please take care of her for me.."

"It seems I missed a lot." Alinos walks in from the open entrance. For once, the former Arch Angel has many wounds and looks exhausted. He imeadiately sits down. Intent on watching what has currently began to unfold.

Rose walks in. Viewing the occupants with an eye, she scowls and moves to the bar, sitting within earshot but still far enough away to be ignored. |

Fury watches Rose make her less than cheerful entrance and raises an eyebrow. "Damn... Whatever it is, it can't be as bad as what happened here."
